When 5e was released, I thought it was about time I stepped up to the DM plate. I’ve been running two different games through the Starter Set. One of the games kind of fell apart, but my dedicated 3.5 group that reluctantly made the switch to 5 have been ploughing through and loving it. The new RP opportunities, the simplified combat, the new rules for magic and money – they’ve taken to it like fish to water. I don’t think I’ve ever seen these guys *this* invested in their characters before. Not to say they don’t get invested, but some of them have sent me tweets. In character. Which makes me happy.
Allow me to introduce you to:
Talon, a Half-Orc Eldritch Knight, who has begun to hear the word of Tempus.
Brutus, Paladin of Tempus, who spreads both the word and the hammer of Tempus at every given opportunity.
Nanoc, Barbarian of great thirsts, for both beverage and … other things. Mostly women, but not always.
Clive, a Gnome Wizard of particular sensibilities. He likes to curse a lot.
Adger ‘Deadshot’ Kole, a rogue with a moral compass that seems to swing to it’s very own magnetic north.
